Welcome to Pillager Schools

Pillager School is a place that balances high academic standards and behavior expectations with the small town feeling of “Where everyone knows your name, and they’re always glad you came.” Our beautiful facilities serve the four distinct schools of Early Childhood through High School in one building allowing us to serve families throughout the educational life of their family. Supporting individual student learning by offering relatively smaller class sizes is important to us, along with delivering relevant and rigorous classroom experiences at all levels. Technology, Talented/Gifted, and Intervention programs are available in each of the four school systems. This brings our students near the top in MCA test scores in Region 5.

After school opportunities are varied from championship football to music and drama. A beautifully maintained sports facility, gyms, and music rooms allow students to prepare and perform with pride. Youth sports down to 3rd grade are managed by varsity level coaches giving a unified approach to learning each sport. Community Education is also active with a variety of other experiences for students and the community.

Community connection is important to Pillager School and we believe that parent involvement is one thing that makes us strong. A dozen or more major events or activities are available through the year to intentionally connect the community with students including the Watch DOG program, PTO activities, Muffins with Mom, Show Me the Math, a Veterans Day program and more. Parents are always welcome to stop in to visit with teachers or administration.

Guiding Pillager School is a forward-thinking, unified School Board that is proactive in planning for the future. The growth of nearly 45% in enrollment in the last 10 years was not accidental, neither has it caught Pillager School unprepared. Exciting things are happening here. We invite families to check out this great school in our small community.
